Walk for Awareness

In honor of PTSD Awareness Month, Dogs that Help is doing a PTSD Walk for Awareness event. It is a hybrid event so anyone can participate! You can walk any distance you want, once you are done post on Facebook or Instagram with #DTHWalk4Awareness. Grab your friends, family, and dogs and start walking!

Our live event will be held Saturday, June 22 from 9 AM - 12 PM at Tri-Township Park District. We will have booths, food, and dogs.

Getting started is as easy as...



Simply, click the 'Register Now' button at the bottom of this section. It will bring you to our event page where you will have 3 tickets to choose from (In-Person, Virtual, and Donation). 



We except both credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal.

Fill out your ticket details with your first and last name, a good email address. If you choose the in-person event, select a shirt size. You can pick up the shirt(s) at out event. You will be receiving an email with your virtual certificate.



Let's start walking! If you choose the Virtual ticket, you can do you walk anytime during the month of June. If you picked the In-Person ticket, then we can't wait to see you at our Walk for Awareness event!


Get to Know Us

Dogs That Help is a non-profit organization made up of Professional Trainers, Veterans, Volunteers, and other Dog Lovers who know the immense improvement in quality of life a trained canine can make. We first started in 2016 with a desire to help veterans and first-responders in our community. Now we have service dogs all over the nation and couldn’t be prouder of all we have accomplished.
